You tell us what works best for you -

I honestly don't know how good or bad my script will perform
for you; I only tested it in small networks (5 clients at home).
I got some positive feedback from people using slightly larger
networks like yours, which suggests that it might do something
useful, but you really have to try it out for yourself.

I see 2 differences betwen FairNat and JiM's Qos Script.

1)
Jim uses esfq instead a HTB by host in order to fairness.
But, is esfq really fairness ? 

In my tests with esfq, I can't get fairness between hosts 
with esfq.

But, with esfq , I don't need to configure client by client.


2)
Jim uses RED qdisc... But I haven't idea how it works,
and if it really works.


I think that both scripts are very good, but I'm looking
for a start point for 36 lan clients on cibercafe with a
linux router with 256k.

I had considerable success using Andreas' HTB + PRIO per-user configuration 
which I adapted to my own purposes.  I found it to be slightly snappier than 
assigning a bunch of HTB children per parent.  I also stuck p2p traffic in a 
fourth bucket, as he did.  Works nice. :)
