Thanks!
[1/2] spi: dt-bindings: Introduce qcom,spi-qpic-snand
commit: fd6bc2ba410bf7828dc2104bf78b51ccbb216c40
[2/2] spi: spi-qpic: add driver for QCOM SPI NAND flash Interface
commit: 7304d1909080ef0c9da703500a97f46c98393fcd
All being well this means that it will be integrated into the linux-next
tree (usually sometime in the next 24 hours) and sent to Linus during
the next merge window (or sooner if it is a bug fix), however if
problems are discovered then the patch may be dropped or reverted.
You may get further e-mails resulting from automated or manual testing
and review of the tree, please engage with people reporting problems and
send followup patches addressing any issues that are reported if needed.
If any updates are required or you are submitting further changes they
should be sent as incremental updates against current git, existing
patches will not be replaced.
Please add any relevant lists and maintainers to the CCs when replying
to this mail.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks Mark for pulling this ! I will follow it up

Thanks for your patch, which is now commit 7304d1909080ef0c
("spi: spi-qpic: add driver for QCOM SPI NAND flash Interface")
upstream.

Why? This is the only driver that selects MTD instead of depending on it.

Why? The driver uses MODULE_*, so a janitor may remove the latter.

As SPI_QPIC_SNAND is bool, this forces MTD (and various related symbols)
to be built-in, as seen in an allmodconfig kernel.
So I think SPI_QPIC_SNAND should be tristate, and it should depend on
MTD to avoid circular dependency issues.

Missing semicolon, so that's why you are forcing the driver built-in? ;-)

I have sent a patch to fix these issues

Good catch, I agree on both comments.
