No, it is not part of the AST2600 SoC package. It is a discrete SPI NOR
on the BMC module.

I agree a common board .dtsi would be the better structure. The nodes
are already in aspeed-g6.dtsi today and more than 28 AST2600 board files
extend them. I can help prepare that cleanup if it is wanted.
