Hello,
I have an MSI-Max2-BLR with onboard bluetooth, lsmod shows that:
rfcomm 22680 0=20
l2cap 20228 5 rfcomm
ohci_hcd 16260 0=20
hci_usb 9600 0=20
bluetooth 41060 5 rfcomm,l2cap,hci_usb
But hciconfig don't show anything... I am using kernel 2.6.5.

Hello again,
I compiled 2.6.5-mm2 again, with all blutooth in, and now I can see my
bluetooth device ;-) I can also scan my Palm device.
I try http://www-jcsu.jesus.cam.ac.uk/~ned21/tech/tungsten_linux.html
and after dund --listen --persist --msdun call dun
I got the following error when I try to connect:
dund[3647]: RFCOMM TTY creation failed. Operation not supported(95)
If I lauch pppd before trying to connect:
pppd[3693]: pppd 2.4.1 started by root, uid 0
pppd[3693]: Using interface ppp0
pppd[3693]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/1
dund[3704]: RFCOMM TTY creation failed. Operation
pppd[3693]: LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests=20
pppd[3693]: Connection terminated.
pppd[3693]: Exit.
Any idea why? And how I could solve this issue?
Thank you very much,
Gr=E9goire

this error is because you didn't set CONFIG_BT_RFCOMM_TTY in your kernel
config.

You're totally right!!!
Now, some kernels recompilation later, I still have a problem which I
don't know how to solve:
dund[3539]: DUN daemon ver 1.1
dund[3554]: New connection from 00:...
pppd[3561]: pppd 2.4.1 started by root, uid 0
pppd[3561]: Using interface ppp0
pppd[3561]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/rfcomm0
pppd[3561]: Cannot determine ethernet address for proxy ARP
pppd[3561]: local IP address 192.168.1.2
pppd[3561]: remote IP address 172.31.130.67
pppd[3561]: IPCP terminated by peer
pppd[3561]: Hangup (SIGHUP)
pppd[3561]: Modem hangup
pppd[3561]: Connection terminated.
pppd[3561]: Connect time 0.8 minutes.
pppd[3561]: Sent 571 bytes, received 322 bytes.
pppd[3561]: Exit.
And after that, I cannot try to connect anymore...
What I am trying just now:
pilot-xfer -p net:any -i AESLib.prc TuSSH0.69.prc
always following
http://www-jcsu.jesus.cam.ac.uk/~ned21/tech/tungsten_linux.html
Thank you very much,

That's sound great, could you give some more details on what sould be
done?
pand --listen --role NAP
OK
ifconfig bnep0 192.168.20.1 netmask 255.255.255.0
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
bnep0: unknown interface: No such device
SIOCSIFNETMASK: No such device
And I don't have anything in /udev/bnep, how to create it in dev?
Thank you very much,

network interface don't have a device node. The bnep0 is only available
if you've made a connection.

Just beacuse someone could have the same problem I did have: I just
commented out the proxyarp option in peers/dun and my palm was able to
try to connect to my linux box over ssh (without success due to my ssh2
or??? but I can see the try to connect on my logs in the linux box) :-)
Sorry for all my emails and thank for all who contributed in BlueZ !!!
