Hm, it seems that installing udev is not the whole thing. In fact it was
already installed on one of the boxes I tried.
I suppose /dev/rfcomm0 should be generated by hotplug and udev when
plugging in the bluetooth adapter? Unfortunately this does not happen.
In /var/log/messages I found the following entries:
> kernel: usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using address 2
> kernel: usb 1-1: Product: SiW
> kernel: usb 1-1: Manufacturer: SiW
> kernel: usb 1-1: SerialNumber: D0BC400D0B00
> hcid[2181]: HCI dev 0 registered
> hcid[2181]: HCI dev 0 up
> hcid[2181]: Starting security manager 0
> /etc/hotplug/usb.agent[3858]: need a device for this command
> /etc/hotplug/usb.agent[3861]: need a device for this command
Can you give me a hint what to do? Even if the device file was generated
properly I think it will still be deleted when disconnecting?

maybe your bluez-utils version is too old. Some older versions can't
wait until the device is created by udev. Newer versions should work
like a charm.
