Will I have to upgrade my kernel (currently 2.4.20-8)? All I need from Bluez is a device and service search, very simple functions. Ask Redhat for updates or search the internet. Or do I need to update the kernel > to 2.4.27 then install that patch (patch-2.4.27-mh1.gz). my patches are only for vanilla kernels. I don't know if they work with Redhat kernels and actually I don't really care.
