Hi all,

I've just installed Redhat 9 and am going to be using Bluez soon, but have
never dealt with kernel upgrades/patches. Will I have to upgrade my kernel
(currently 2.4.20-8)? All I need from Bluez is a device and service search,
very simple functions.

Thanks
Chris

you need a kernel update and the latest bluez-libs and bluez-utils
packages. Ask Redhat for updates or search the internet.

Regards

Marcel

Hi Chris,

my patches are only for vanilla kernels. I don't know if they work with
Redhat kernels and actually I don't really care.

Regards

Marcel
