reparented when needed.

This is based on the driver Allwinner ships in their Android kernel sources.

Initial porting to upstream kernels done by David Lanzendörfer, additional
fixes and cleanups by Hans de Goede.

It uses dma in bus-master mode using a built-in designware idmac controller,
which is identical to the one found in the mmc-dw hosts.
The rest of the host is not identical to mmc-dw.

Just as gpiod_get() automatically interprets the OF_GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW
flag from the device tree, add handling for OF_GPIO_OPEN_DRAIN and
OF_GPIO_OPEN_SOURCE.

This keeps the details of handling open-drain GPIOs in the core GPIO
code, and out of the individual drivers.

there was a mapping between the "event numbers" and the external time
stamp channels. I don't remember off the top of my head why this these
two differ by one, but there was a good reason.

FWIW, the usecase I had mentioned in reply to Grant in the patch 5/5
thread [1] could make use of this.  The shared memory region is split
into a main chunk and several "auxiliary" chunk, but collectively these
regions all share the same heap state.

The use case seems fine, but I believe it could be properly represented 
in device tree using multiple single-reg regions as well, unless the 
consumer can request a block of memory that crosses boundary of two 
sub-regions specified by reg entries of single region.

Isn't the reason the other way around? The PMIC generates a low-level
interrupt, but the GIC can only be configured to accept high-level (or
rising edge) and therefore the nvidia,invert-interrupt property needs to
be set in the PMC node?

One nitpick below.

I'd prefer to keep the properties grouped as before. interrupts is a
"client" property, whereas #interrupt-cells and interrupt-controller
are "provider" properties.

And I think the comment would be more appropriate in the pmc node, for
the same reason that I think the commit description isn't entirely
accurate.
