Subject: [linux-lvm] software raid or lvm?
Date: Mon, 07 Jun 2004 17:25:57 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <40C48905.80608@blocked.name> (raw)
hello all,
i've got mobo with nforce2 and siimage3112 chipset and two sata hd. i'd like to
install suse91, which doesn't support siimage chipset, so i've to use software
raid or lvm.
what would be better/faster?
can i check speed of lvm like hd speed with hdparm?
thank for tip
philip
