following machine configuration:

Dual Pentium XEON 2.8 GHz 400MHz FSB
2 GB RAM
2.4.18-19.8.0smp
(This is the so-called Hyper-Thread Safe Kernel)
If this is not true please len me know.
Motherboard is the P4DMS Intel 7501 chipset.


IO APIC error 02 needs resolving... or it it is safe to
ignore...???
