I have installed Redhat version 5.1 and for the life of me can not get my
AWE64 sound card to work with it. (the only thing left to figure out).
It's current config under windows 98 is I/O 220, IRQ 5, DMA 1 (for 8bit)
and DMA 5 (for 16 bit).
in Xwindows I run sndconfig, it detects it, everything looks ok, sndconfig
goes to play the test sound, it comes up with a sndprobe error.
I have tried to fiddle with the setting on the card, but don't have to many
options since this machine is stuffed with other hardware.
any ideas would be appreciated.
