This needs thought, it is definitely more work.  Effort that could be
maybe spent on new features.  What is the motivation
here? supporting legacy mmio guests?

This needs thought, it is definitely more work.  Effort that could be
maybe spent on new features.  What is the motivation
here? supporting legacy mmio guests?
