Afaik no.
Last time something like this was tried, it resulted in random
freezings, and there I was not the only one affected.
Although it was an old snapshot.
The -mm tree is used because -mm stuff goes into mainline and
that's what the Reiser4 people are trying to accomplish...
There's nothing wrong with sticking to what Namesys gives :)

Unfortunately I have to tell you that we are doing contract work for a
customer not related to reiser4 in order to pay the bills, and for that
reason reiser4 will most likely not get debugged this week.

patch applies perfect on vanilla... maybe like 1 EASY EASY failed hunk,
which easily can be fixed. and it works perfect.
