Subject: [PATCH 2/10] memory-hotplug : remove /sys/firmware/memmap/X sysfs
Date: Fri, 5 Oct 2012 11:26:57 +0900 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <506E4571.4090608@jp.fujitsu.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <506E43E0.70507@jp.fujitsu.com>
When (hot)adding memory into system, /sys/firmware/memmap/X/{end, start, type}
sysfs files are created. But there is no code to remove these files. The patch
implements the function to remove them.
Note : The code does not free firmware_map_entry since there is no way to free
memory which is allocated by bootmem.

Subject: [PATCH 2/10] memory-hotplug : remove /sys/firmware/memmap/X sysfs
Date: Fri, 5 Oct 2012 11:26:57 +0900 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <506E4571.4090608@jp.fujitsu.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <506E43E0.70507@jp.fujitsu.com>
When (hot)adding memory into system, /sys/firmware/memmap/X/{end, start, type}
sysfs files are created. But there is no code to remove these files. The patch
implements the function to remove them.
Note : The code does not free firmware_map_entry since there is no way to free
memory which is allocated by bootmem.
