Dear Linbit folks,

as you are nowadays referencing bug numbers inside the DRBD
changelogs, what about a publicly accessible Bugzilla?

According to...
http://lists.linbit.com/pipermail/drbd-dev/2008-March/000915.html
...this has already been thought about.

Is there any other incarnation of a publicly available list
of bugs and the corresponding descriptions?

Thanks,
Wolfram

Maybe.
Maybe not.

 ;)

If you ask me, I'd rather have (supposed to be) bugs reported on the
mailing list (drbd-user) or via the LINBIT support channels (Customers
only, obviously), than have a public bugzilla.

I fear that a public bugzilla would just depleat our limited time pool
yet again, by endless reports of "does not feed my cat, either".

Nope.

Oh -- I did not want to report bugs via Bugzilla, I just would like
to be able to read about the bugs fixed that are mentioned in the
changelogs, so I could perhaps conclude whether those bugs would
affect my setup at all.

Thanks,
Wolfram

All bugs affect all setups always ;-)

Appart from that, the Changelog (file) updated for releases is more
likely to answer that question than some git commit message or bugzilla
description.

But we'll see.
