How to recover flash

Please I destroyed the flash of my OMAP OSK5912 (dev kit) how to recover the
flash ??
after download the u-boot latest version i must do saveenv before reboot ?

	The fastest way to recover u-boot on an OSK is to use one of the three
flash recovery utilities:
	Flash Recovery Utility works on Windows, is free, and recovers revision
C boards.
	OMAP Flash Loader works on Unix, is also free, and recovers revision D
boards (both of these can be found at
http://tree.celinuxforum.org/CelfPubWiki/FlashRecoveryUtility).
	The new OMAP Flash Recovery Utility, which still works on Windows, is
now licensed (available for a small fee), and recovers both revision C
and D boards (it can be found at
http://www.softwaredesignsolutions.com/).

	You only need to use saveenv if you have changed a u-boot environmental
variable and wish to maintain that new setting after a reboot: it is not
necessary for simply installing u-boot itself.

You can try instruction 
http://omap.spectrumdigital.com/osk5912/factoryconfig/ if you can use 
CodeComposer Studio and Jtag Emulator, or Omap Flash Loader from 
http://tree.celinuxforum.org/CelfPubWiki/FlashRecoveryUtility?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=omapfl-1.0.tar.gz 
and Usb cabel A-A.

utility i tried  with code composer studio but without luck, so thanks and
best regards to you all i'll send more if necessary, but the FRU i think it

the Code Composer or the flash utility that costs $80?

Has anyone successfully used the GPL version of the flash utility found on
this site on Rev D board?  Thanks.

i did it an hour ago, the onkly thing you must be root to execute the
program, i used it to put my own image based on u-Boot from git tree.

Interesting, I tried it last night under Ubuntu but it would always return
some erros, which I can't recall as of now.

Can you post which distribution you are running, kernel version number, and
version number of the libusb?

Yes, we have rev. D OSK and there was no problem with flashing it with
mentioned tool. Just follow omapfl-1.0/README and it should be OK.

Ubuntu Breezy Badger, kernel 2.6.12 and latest libusb for this distro.

computer.
