Why bother with the pagefault_disable() and unlikely fault case and not
simply do copy_from_user() and have it deal with the fault if its needed
anyway?

Why bother with the pagefault_disable() and unlikely fault case and not
simply do copy_from_user() and have it deal with the fault if its needed
anyway?
