With the Linux kernel change from 2.6 to 3.0, many device communities
seem to be declaring "long term maintenance support" for the Linux
2.6.39 kernel (supposedly the last of the 2.6 kernels). I have heard
this from both the BeagleBoard and Overo communities. It seems logical
that other communities will also do this to be able to advertise a "more
stable 2.6 branch". BeagleBoard is targeting 2.6.39 to be a "validation
suite" level.
Will Xenomai support OMAP-2.6.39?
Regards,
Bob Feretich

The plan was to skip 2.6.39 and support 3.0. However, as already
proposed, if someone wants to provide this patch, we would be happy to
put it in a "contrib" directory, somewhere in Xenomai sources.

What is the target release date for Linux-OMAP-3.0 support?

Let us be clear, I was talking about adeos I-pipe for linux 3.0. And I
do not have a target release date. Should be sometime during next month
or so.
