During the chip id check during init (after ACPI match), yes those IDs are
different between devices with bmi323 and bmc150.

Thanks for this useful script, and thanks for your patience and guidance.
If I make a future submission after this patch series, the whole process
should go much smoother as I have learned a lot in this thread.
